With Giffen Clark Ott and Nick Shekerjian. Fabrication: 900 North Studios. I was commissioned by the University Christian Church to make a public art piece in front of the church that would engage students and passersby on campus. This included community engagement and creative activities with UCC, a talk at UT Austin and also an opening with live music. The UCC identifies as a progressive, affirming, inclusive church. Sunray Cat is an anagram for sanctuary.
As an addition to the original concept, reflective devices are being designed to reflect color on the sculpture from the ground below.
